First lunch break on our weekend kayaking trip. We paddled 18km up to the granite falls.

Low tide at our lunch beach. Nice for the eyes but a real challenge for your barefoot skills.

The same place...

Croker Island to our right. Other paddlers to our left.

Croker Island. Just before we arrived at the granite falls campground.

Chilling on the calm sea.

Granite falls. A beatiful place to chill out and having a cool beer. Natural granite bowls have been formed by the waterfall. Now they are perfect pools.

Tired after an outdoor day?

Indian arm.

Granite Falls the next morning. We left the place maybe a little bit too late. Strong inland winds complicated our way back. It took us maybe double the time to get back. By the way, the waterfall is also a great slide.

The Quarry Rock. An easy accessible view point high above the indian arm.

Shoes on lines.

On the top of the Goatmountain. No goats at all. Thank you Lucia, for taking the picture.

Snow on the Goatmountain. After hiking the grouse grind which wasn't very inspiring because tons of people, we had a great hike to this top.

My imagination how north america has to look...

Kits beach at high tide.
Kits Beach = my office for the afternoon. Now I'm used to play beach volleyball with stronger wind. And also the feeling for the different wilson balls is better :) In the background you can see Vancouver Downtown and the Grouse Mountain.

I read a newspaper and saw by accident that BRASSTRONAUT play at the Khatsahlano festival. The last time I saw them was back home in switzerland. If you don't know the band, check out www.brasstronaut.com…

Vancouver, Downtown.
